Spontaneous Raman Emission and Tunable Stokes Shift in Porous Silicon
In this paper, in order to generate radiation at 1.54 micron, an approach based on Raman scattering in porous silicon is presented. Experimental results, proving spontaneous Raman emission at 1.5 micron and tuning of the Stokes shift, are reported.
متن کاملLabel-free imaging of Drosophila in vivo by coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering and two-photon excitation autofluorescence microscopy.
Drosophila is one of the most valuable model organisms for studying genetics and developmental biology. The fat body in Drosophila, which is analogous to the liver and adipose tissue in human, stores lipids that act as an energy source during its development. At the early stages of metamorphosis, the fat body remodeling occurs involving the dissociation of the fat body into individual fat cells...
متن کاملOrganic matter from biofilter nitrification by high performance size exclusion chromatography and fluorescence excitation-emission matrix
A combination of high performance size exclusion chromatography with organic carbon detector and ultraviolet detector coupled with peak-fitting technique and fluorescence excitation-emission matrix spectrometry applied fluorescence regional integration method was conducted to determine the characteristics of organic matter during nitrification. The batch scale of bionet nitrification without or...
متن کاملAn orange fluorescent protein with a large Stokes shift for single-excitation multicolor FCCS and FRET imaging.
Multicolor imaging based on genetically encoded fluorescent proteins (FPs) is a powerful approach to study several dynamic processes in a live cell. We report a monomeric orange FP with a large Stokes shift (LSS), called LSSmOrange (excitation/emission at 437/572 nm), which fills up an existing spectral gap between the green-yellow and red LSSFPs. Brightness of LSSmOrange is five-fold larger th...
متن کاملMultiband excitation pulses for hyperpolarized 13C dynamic chemical-shift imaging.
Hyperpolarized 13C offers high signal-to-noise ratios for imaging metabolic activity in vivo, but care must be taken when designing pulse sequences because the magnetization cannot be recovered once it has decayed. It has a short lifetime, on the order of minutes, and gets used up by each RF excitation. In this paper, we present a new dynamic chemical-shift imaging method that uses specialized ...
